Wake Masters Competition Munich

Hey Guys,

so today I had a local German comp at my home city Munich. The setup was pretty sketchy, as it consisted of a tiny spine kicker and a short shape tube all at a system 2.o, which was probably only 3,5 meters high with a rope length of 5 meters. It was really hard to actually land any hard tricks, as the cable was shaking very bad, as soon as you did any air tricks. Anyway, everyone had two turns during their run, trying to fit the most and best air tricks, rail hits and kicker hits in. This was so stressful! However, I decided to ride Open Men , although I could have still joined the Junior Men category. In the final I was able to put down a solid run with tricks like a off water crow mobe and a hs fs 7, which were really hard tricks according to the challenging¬†setup. Anyway I finished the final with a 2nd place and so got beaten by my bro Dominik Schwarz by only 0.67 points! Unfortunately couldn’t land my second run to take the win, but whatever. Still had tons of fun today. The weather was sick with about 36 degrees, as well as the location, right in the city centre of Munich! And to finish off the day I had a refreshing beer shower during the award ceremony. Successful day haha!

Thanks Bene ūüôā

Transitions 2015

Transitions 2015 was so sick! We started off the day with me winning my heat and qualifying 1st which meant I went straight through to the big air and entered a final against all the other riders that got 1st in their heats. This started the day off good and as we went onto the final I won that as well which I was super stoked about! Then later in the day we had the big air and as all us boys were getting hyped to the music and it was getting darker the flames were going off and we were ready to ride. I went off and managed to throw down my double half cab roll and although I couldn’t land any pete rose 7’s this still put me high enough to take my second win of the day. This meant I had a free bar for the night to celebrate and listen to the sick DJ’s! It was a such a good day and it was really cool to see Erik here supporting us. Can’t wait to go out to Norway and ride with the guys soon!

Traveling

I have been travelling the world for over 5 years now and it has been some of the best times of my life, and some of the hardest. Don’t get me wrong it is a dream job as most people would call it, but it has its ups and downs like anything in life. I’ll tell you what though, i wouldn’t want to be living any other way. To wake up each day and ride my Wakeboard at different cable parks, locations all around the world at a competitive and professional level is a dream come true. Continue reading…

Transitions was amazing

Injury

The new year had arrived and i was on the Gold Coast enjoying a few months off Wakeboarding from January to the 8th of March, when i had made the decision to head out to Thai Wake Park (my second home) to train and prepare myself for the 2015 season ahead. It was the morning of the 28th of May that i had completely torn my ACL on a regular mute heel side 900, which my girlfriend and professional wakeboarder Angelika Schriber was filming at the time of impact.

The Peacock Brothers // HipNotics 2015

So after a crazy week of riding out at HipNotics in June I finally managed to find some free time to throw together a couple of the clips that we got out there! Was so much fun getting to ride with everybody out there and learnt some cool new tricks so definitely looking forward to going back some time!

It’s time for some traveling

Let’s travel. This saturday I will jump on a plane to London, then of to Surrey to catch up with the Peacock brothers as they are competing in Transitions. I’m definitely not competing myself, but I’m heading down there to have a great time with our bloggers and to show them our support. Continue reading…
